December: A Time for Good Times with A Victim of Good Times
What’s that? You say you want to come see A Victim Of Good Times this month but don’t know which upcoming show to attend? Well here’s the skinny:
Saturday 12/15 is at The Thirsty Bulldog in Chichester. It’s free and a band we like, Seamus Browning, is opening. Any money we make that night will be donated to a local charity, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, which should make you feel better about the rest of your gluttonous December, you capitalist pigdog.
Now then, Monday 12/17 is at Philly hotspot Kung Fu Necktie. We’re on first, supporting Ambassadors, a group from Brooklyn. It will certainly be less free than Saturday, but it’d be nice if you showed your support on a Monday; empty rooms suck to play in. So come to this one and you get karma for helping us out. And karma is like donating to charity, but God knows how much you donated, and S/He’s keeping score.
So there you go. Two great ways to do something good this holiday season. Or … something.
